Less sugar -> Less sense

I recently saw cheenikum . The story is simple. A 64 year old man and a 34 year old lady fall for each other and make their "love" a success against all hurdles!!

*HOPELESS* – is an understatement for this movie

I seriously wonder if LOVE can be this crazy and if yes can it rightfully be called LOVE?

" Marriage defines a new purpose to life"
-- Doesn’t it?

But how can we define these kinds of marriages? Its just an " old age time pass "
Can this time pass have any future? And what happens to the poor kid formed out of this tragedy? (Provided he can still do "IT"): P
ha ha ! Wonder how the kid will feel to have a younger granddad than daddy .
There are some funny aspects as well in this time pass :D

Well this could be a common thing in the west. But in a place where "marriage" is seen as the biggest purpose in life, such ideas should never be encouraged.
To top this all, AMITABH BACHAN – " the Indian idol " himself acts in support of this concept :
Wow. How actuating can he get for his obedient followers. Where will this take our already debauched budding generation?

Here begins the aping of another western concept !

To make this concept more justified, I would suggest Amitabh to get his daughter married to some 70 year old guy. He can find many prospective bridegrooms from our Indian political system :P

" Common! – Its just a movie " – you might say. But never forget that it’s these movies that drive the minds of the mass.

To sum it up, its just another inlet to make our culture go down the drain!!!!!!!!

chiru...controversy is now ur move in the game....good for u....dont get bashed up by some amitabh fan thoh....i agree and disagree wid u....i think movies whether we think is timepass or not somewhere is affecting the mass of people to imitate what is shown on the big screen and not to forget 'thirutu vcds'...for example the biggest propoganda for the concept of love is movies. More and more of it being shown in various ways somewhere lets people accept something that was once a social stigma in a conservative society like ours.

I disagree when i say that love can happen whenever and wherever and even in a split second...no one can question it...perhaps taking it till marriage might affect the offsprings but everyone has the right to a life of their own...good work chiru...it is tough to convince people that ur way of thinking is the rite way...being so emphatic with your statements perhaps did not help coz each brain sees it different...
